General Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements:

PhD Programs

• A Master’s degree in the relevant field of study.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (under semester system) or 60% marks (annual system).

MS, M.Phil, MBA, M.Sc (H)

• A 4-year Bachelor’s degree (after Intermediate) in the respective field.
• Minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 or 56% marks under annual systems.
• At least 130 credit hours from an HEC-recognized institution.

University Admission Test (UAT) Details

The University of Agriculture, Peshawar requires candidates to appear for the University Admission Test (UAT):

1. GAT (General): For all Master Programs (M.Sc, M.Phil, MBA, MS).
   • 50% score required to qualify.
2. GAT (Subject): For PhD Programs.
   • 60% score required for eligibility.

Alternatively, NTS GAT General/Subject scores are also acceptable.
